Amy Green

Co-Chair

Parent Governor

Amy was a parent to two children who both attended North Heath. She has been Finance Chair and Co Chair and served for the past five years.

As a Chartered insurance broker who is based in London, but delivers solutions to large corporate business all over the UK, Amy brings business specialism and financial experience. In her day job the focus is managing risks, financial review, procurement and specialist insurance products.

Amy is a former President of the Insurance Institute of Sussex and currently leads for business engagement on the Institute council, A London Livery Woman with The Worshipful Company of Constructors and a council member of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, serving on the ESG and Fraud and Security committees.

Amy is a grant committee member of the UK Insurance Charities, a benevolent fund for those working in the industry

In her spare time Amy supports her children and their team at Atlantis swimming club and walks to the pub and beach with her husband.

Parent Governor

I am delighted to have been elected as Co-Chair of Governors for the school for a second year. My daughter is in Year 4 at the school and from the time she started I wanted to be able to support – initially as a member of Friends of North Heath, and more recently as a member of the Governing body. My professional career started with my MSc in forensic psychology and has been one of working in the statutory and charity sectors in the field of safeguarding and public protection as a Probation Officer, Local Authority Designated Officer, Faith Case Review Project Manager and Advisor. I currently work as the Methodist South East District Safeguarding Officer and alongside this deliver safeguarding training. I’m passionate about children feeling safe and being able to thrive and with this in mind, I also became a member of the West Sussex Children and Young People Scrutiny Committee. I believe that the relationship we have as parents, with our children’s school, is vital for them to be able to flourish.
