School Day

At North Heath, pupils are welcome on site from 8:30am.
They remain parents’/carers’ responsibility until 8:40am when class doors open.

Classroom doors open at 8:40am and pupils should arrive in time for the school day to begin at 8:45am.

Pupils should enter the school through their classroom door.

The school day ends at 3:15pm for all year groups.
Pupils can usually be collected from their external classroom doors.
Hedgehog Class can be collected from the front doors of the school.

Punctuality

Pupils are expected to arrive at school in time for the register at 8:45am.
School gates will be locked from 8:50am.
If you are running late and arrive after 8:45am, please enter the school through the main doors by the office.

Safeguarding

Teachers will endeavour to release all pupils from 3:15pm. Pupils will only be released to the adults expected to be collecting.

To avoid upset, inconvenience or embarrassment, if another adult is collecting your child, please let the school know in the morning or as soon as possible on that day.

Absence

Pupils are expected to be in school each day. If your child is ill, please contact the school office by 8:30am to advise them.

NB. The school is not able to authorise absence for holidays or treats.
