Summer Term 2026
In the Summer Term, there are a number of extra-curricular clubs taking place after school. Internally-led clubs are run by staff on a voluntary basis – there is no charge for these clubs and we are extremely grateful that our teachers are willing to give up their time to run them.
Internal Clubs:
When: From Monday 27 April until Friday 19 June 2026
Time: 3.15pm to 4.00pm
Clubs WILL NOT RUN on Monday 4 May as it is a Bank Holiday or on Monday 1 June as it is an Inset Day.
If selected for a club, pupils are expected to attend all sessions unless they are absent or parents have emailed the teacher leading the club or the office; a register will be taken. In the event of bad weather, outdoor clubs will take place indoors.
School Council Meetings: will be held on a Monday after school 3.15pm – 4.00pm during the weeks in which internal clubs are held. If your child has been elected as school council for their class, they are expected to continue to attend these meetings all year. This will not affect their ability to join another club on a different day.
Homework Clubs:
Weekly attendance is not essential for Homework Club. However, pupils gain most from the club through regular attendance so this is preferable. The club will be available for up to 30 pupils to support them with their learning.
Year 3 & 4 Homework Club: will run from 3.15pm to 4.00pm starting Thursday 23 April 2026 until Thursday 9 July 2026.
Year 5 & 6 Homework Club: will run from 3.15pm to 4.00pm starting Thursday 23 April 2026 until Thursday 9 July 2026.
Please note:
Year 5 & 6 Homework Club will NOT run on Thursday 14th May 2026.
Clubs will run, whatever the weather. In the event of bad weather, outdoor clubs will take place indoors.
External Clubs:
A range of clubs run by external providers are on offer during the Summer Term. Places for these clubs need to be booked directly with the providers. All details can be found at the end of this letter.
